Frequently Asked Questions

A luxury travel advisor does much more than book hotels. I help travelers create journeys that feel thoughtfully designed around what matters most to them. From choosing the right accommodations and guides to coordinating transportation, cultural experiences, and the details in between, my goal is to make travel feel easy, enjoyable, and tailored to the people taking the trip.

I may be biased, but I think so. Europe offers endless possibilities, and one of the biggest challenges isn't finding options, it's knowing which ones are the right fit. The right neighborhood in London, the right countryside hotel in Ireland, or the right guide in Portugal can completely change your experience. Working with a travel advisor helps ensure your trip reflects what matters most to you rather than simply following a list of popular recommendations.
-
Absolutely. Europe is one of my favorite places to help clients explore because there are so many different ways to experience it. Some travelers are drawn to food and wine, others to history, family heritage, wellness, luxury rail journeys, or simply slowing down and spending more time in fewer places. My role is to bring those interests together into a journey that feels personal, meaningful, and uniquely your own.
-
Yes, and this is one of my favorite parts of planning travel. Through trusted local experts and destination partners, I can connect travelers with exceptional guides and experiences that bring a destination to life. Whether it's exploring a city with a local historian, meeting artisans, tracing family heritage, or experiencing a destination through its food and culture, these are often the moments travelers remember long after they return home.
-
Every traveler experiences a destination differently, which is why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all itineraries.
While much of my work focuses on Europe, particularly Italy, Portugal, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Scandinavia, I work with trusted partners around the world to create journeys that reflect each traveler's interests, priorities, and travel style.
For some travelers, that might mean sailing through French Polynesia aboard a private yacht. For others, it could be watching the sunset over Uluru from a luxury tented camp in Australia, exploring Portugal's wine country with local experts, or gathering multiple generations of a family in a countryside villa in Italy.
I also work extensively with luxury family travel, multi-generational travel, food and wine journeys, wellness retreats, river cruises, expedition cruises, and culturally immersive experiences around the world.

One of the things my clients appreciate most is knowing they have someone familiar with their trip, their preferences, and their priorities.
While I hope you never need assistance once your trip begins, it's reassuring to know you have someone who understands the details of your journey and is available if questions arise along the way. Whether it's coordinating with local partners, navigating a change in plans, or simply providing guidance while you're away, I'm here to help.
My goal is for you to spend your time enjoying the destination, not worrying about logistics.

am based between Charlotte, North Carolina and Kiawah Island, South Carolina, and work with travelers throughout the United States. While many of my clients are located in the Carolinas, I design custom luxury journeys for travelers across the country and around the world.
Most planning is done virtually, making it easy to work together regardless of where you live.
